GiaQuinta celebrates 10 millionth car made at General Motors’ Fort Wayne plant; Local lawmaker applauds United Auto Workers, ‘Made In Indiana’ vehicles
Big accomplishments are happening at General Motors’ Fort Wayne and I wanted to share the news. The plant announced its 10 millionth car made in our community using union labor. There’s no one that works harder than Hoosiers, and the proof is in the pudding at General Motors.
General Motors has employed thousands and thousands of employees over the course of 37 years in Fort Wayne. We’ve put our community on the map as a talent hub in Indiana attracting the eye of large employers and families alike. I look forward to seeing what we can continue to accomplish together.

The Allen County Public Library will officially receive the recognition during a ceremony at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.
